The upper access is in the middle of the trail so you have to hike up and then down and back up. The lower access would just be hiking up past the bridge and back. End of trail is clearly marked and the trail is well-maintained.
Opened in 2006, this 30-acre park was one of the first on the Haw River Trail. Protecting over a mile of riverfront, the park also conserves one of the most historically important river crossings in Alamance County. The park offers nearly two miles of walking trails, fishing, and picnicking. There are two entrances to the park.
